Summary

Focus On Them is an editorial and graphic project that sets out to undo prejudice and misunderstanding about blind and low-vision people. Made solo, winter 2022. The graphics were built and photographed by hand rather than composited on screen.

The work

A book, a key-visual poster and two graphics, the graphics built on kaleidoscope and light motifs. For the key visual I staged the scene physically and shot it instead of compositing it in Photoshop.

Reflection

Changing the process changed the result. The texture of something made by hand and photographed did not come back from compositing.
